Shute Harbour

Shute Harbour is the main gateway for visitors wishing to go to any of the islands in the Whitsundays.  A natural harbour it offers vessels shelter from both the prevailing South East winds and also from the Northerly's which come in later in the year.  Coral Point Lodge is central to virtually everything in the Whitsundays. 

From our location we have bushwalking and fishing available within 5 minutes.  The ferry terminal is located just down the hill for those wishing to visit the Islands or Great Barrier Reef on a daily basis or to transfer to the Islands for their holiday. Long Island, Daydream and South Molle are all 15 minutes away on a ferry and Hamilton Island is 35 minutes away.

The seaside village of Airlie Beach is 10-15 minutes in a car or on a bus and the shopping district of Cannonvale with it's new Centro shopping centre is 20 minutes away.

Coral Point Lodge offers a quiet experience, somewhere where you can totally unwind, avoid the hustle and bustle of the tourist centres and get as close to nature as you desire.
